DCA's Carthay Circle Marquee

In a couple of previous posts, we followed the construction and completion of the new Carthay Circle Restaurant at Disney California Adventure park. But there's still a bit more to see.

Back on March 19th, nearly three months before the grand opening, the marquee was just being installed...

In late May, side panels were not yet completed...

But we did see the front panel with the words "Carthay Circle Premiere Cuisine"...

Back panels read, "An Icon Returns"...

On June 4th, with less than two weeks before the grand opening, MiceChat.com featured this shot of the marquee that read "Carthay Circle Premiere" with the "Restaurant" side panels in place...

Then by mid-June it was changed to "Carthay Circle World Premiere" as seen in this shot by Daveland...

TokyoMagic shares this bit of related info in a recent email...
I had sent you a photo in the past [prior to the construction of the Carthay Circle Restaurant] of the "forced perspective" theaters and street at the end of Hollywood Boulevard in DCA. One of the theaters used to have Snow White and the Seven Dwarf on its marquee. I notice a few weeks ago that they removed it!  The marquee now has Fantasia on it instead...
