2013 PVC Snow White Figurine Play Set

Released in January at the Disney Store, this 2013 version of the Snow White Figurine Play Set finally includes a complete roster of dwarfs. The figures are identical to those found in the 2011 collection (see earlier post), but that set only featured three of the seven: Sleeping, Grumpy and Dopey. We also gain a deer figure (with bluebird) in this new issue. Made from PVC plastic. Measure up to 3.75" high. Original retail price $19.50.

2012 PVC Princess Figurine Sets

The Disney Princess Figurine Deluxe Play Set was another group of PVC figures to appear at the Disney Store in 2012. The 10-piece collection includes a new Snow White along with Aurora, Ariel, Jasmine, Tiana, Cinderella, Mulan, Pocahontas, Belle, and Rapunzel. Pieces measure up to 4" tall. Made from PVC plastic. Retail price $19.50 (USD).

These leading ladies were also sold in two separate 7-piece sets. Play set #1 contained most of the same figures, although Tiana has a new pose and is wearing a blue dress instead of green.

In August 2012, the princess PVC fun was found online at the UK Disney Store. This collection contains the same ten figures as the US Deluxe Play Set except Ariel lost her fins and donned the pink dress. Different packaging. Retail £20.00 (GBP).

2012 PVC Classic Villains Figurine Set

This 6-figure play set was seen online last August, part of the Classic Disney Villains Collection at the Disney Store. The Wicked Queen is joined by Maleficent, Captain Hook, Queen of Hearts, Cruella De Vil, and Ursula. Pieces measure up to 4" high. Made from PVC plastic. Original retail price $12.50.

Ms. Evil holds a golden chalice in her right hand, ready to toast her own beauty. She is identical to the Queen figure released in the 8-piece Snow White Figurine Play Set from 2011 (see earlier archive entry).

Squeeze Toy Sets

This 2011 Seven Dwarfs Squeeze Toy Set was sold at the theme parks and online at the Disney Store. The PVC figures stand approximately 5" tall and comes in a zippered plastic carrying case. Promoted as "squeezable toys ideal for the beach, pool or bath," the collection sold for $15.95 (USD) at WDW (February); $17.95 online (May).

Bottom of each figure reads "© Disney Made in China."

Also available was a 6-piece Fairy Tale Friends set featuring Snow White and the princess gang. Like the set above, the 5" PVC figures were sold at the theme parks and online at the Disney Store. Retail $17.95.

World on Ice - Dwarf Figures

This unusual looking Dopey was a merchandise item sold at Walt Disney's World on Ice United Kingdom presentation of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1994-1997). According to its current owner, it's likely the figure was originally purchased at the UK Birmingham NIA or NEC arena. Made of hard plastic, it stands just under 6" tall.

The Disney on Ice shows are produced by Feld Entertainment, the same longtime owners of the Ringling Brothers Circus. Dopey's base reads, "© DISNEY. Made Exclusively for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Combined Shows Inc., Made in China."

These Grumpy and Happy figures were purchased from a 1998 Snow White show that was performed at Flanders Expo near Brussels, Belgium.
